Ms. Khadijah – Infant Teacher
“Whenever you feel unloved, unimportant, or insecure, remember to whom you belong.”

Ms. Khadijah has been at Step by Step for over 7 years now. She was involved in the Early Childhood Education program at Tate High School, has volunteered at her church’s Summer Camps, she is the second oldest of nine siblings, and she has two children of her own and one on the way! She is working on her earning her Bachelor’s Degree. Ms. Khadijah loves arts and crafts, and she loves teaching babies!! She enjoys using her creative talents in the classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Ms. Khadijah’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:19-22 “So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.”

 

Ms. Jenn –  Infant Teacher
“Always put God first for the kids and do it in a fun way!”

Ms. Jenn has been at Step by Step for almost a year. She has 3 children of her own and teaches at her church’s nursery as well as participates in Vacation Bible School each year. She loves to do arts and crafts and really enjoys reading to her babies in her classroom!  Ms. Jenn loves fishing, participating in outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. Her favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 31 that talks about what a virtuous woman is: Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.”
