Infant Teachers

Ms. Shelly – Infant Teacher
“What you do, they do…what you say, they say…so here’s a clue, always let it be the Lord’s way! Working with children has always been my passion; They all shine in their own ways!”

Ms. Shelly has been working at Step by Step for over 5 years, and she has worked with children for eight years in a childcare setting. She also has a daughter of her own. She has her CDA and is working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She hopes to be able to open her own center someday so she can serve even more families! Ms. Shelly loves music! She loves to make noise and come up with some great learning songs off the top of her head. Her hobbies include being outside and exploring God’s creation as well as playing sports with her nephews and niece. She’s really passionate about reading her daily devotions because it helps bring her peace throughout the day! Ms. Shelly’s favorite verse is Isaiah 26:12 – “Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.”

You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.”
