Ms. Ashley – Aftercare/Summer Camp Director
“I just believe that ALL children have value, and all children deserve the chance to have a positive outlet and role models. I don’t care if a child thinks they aren’t the best singer or dancer…if THEY really want a chance to try, I can work with that! I love to hear them tell me they can’t do something because I can then prove to them that they can!”
Ms. Ashley has been working as a teacher/Assistant Director of Step by Step for 8 years now, and she has been working with Aftercare and Summer Camp for 15 years. She has a passion for this age group and teaching about Jesus through the arts (music, dance, theater), Bible study, character lessons, and through teachable moments that occur on a daily basis. Ms. Ashley strives to teach the kids to always try – no matter what – , care for others, love yourself, strive for excellence, and give our best. She has an Arts Administration degree from the University of West Florida. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her own family.
